Tim Lundell '68 and Penelope O'Neill were married for 40 years. Tragically, Penny passed away from cancer in 2019. To honor her memory, Tim established the Penelope O'Neill Memorial Scholarship for Girls Rising Above , to provide need-based tuition assistance for girls who would derive significant benefit from the high quality education provided by Central Catholic High School, as a step in furthering opportunities for college, and as an assist in breaking the cycle that might otherwise keep them at risk for poverty and abuse. We are grateful to Tim, who let us know that he has included additional funding for this scholarship through a provision in his will. Thank you, Tim for your foresight and generosity.
